To encourage the  audience to be strong and to continue to pray as the Lord Jesus promised them that he will be with them until the the end of age. During the  last days, all scary and bad things will happen, but for them is to  trust in the Lord and in his mighty power.

This song tells us about the Great Day of the Lord that is coming. And that we will rejoice when we reach home. Our Master the Lord Jesus is waiting and calling us home. So we need to prepare and be ready for rapture.
